csvtoexcel.site/ provides a free, browser-based tool that converts CSV and similar delimited text files to Excel (.xlsx) format, along with informational blog content about CSV and spreadsheet workflows. Conversion is performed locally on your device; we do not store your files.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the site or its code;

3. Your data
Because conversion happens client-side, we never receive your files. Always keep backups of important originals before converting — particularly because Excel may reinterpret data types (dates, leading zeros, long numbers) during any CSV workflow. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Accuracy disclaimer
The converter and our guides are provided to be helpful, but data conversion involves interpretation (delimiters, encodings, data types). We do not guarantee that every conversion will perfectly preserve your data in all edge cases. Always verify converted output — especially row counts and critical columns — before relying on it for business, financial, or legal purposes.
